Arctic Mountain Suspension
AMS is our proven, lightweight rear suspension system utilized on all of our full-size mountain sleds. This system keeps the sled nimble in the varying snow conditions of the backcountry and provides optimal off-trail cornering, as well as more predictable counter steering when side-hilling. Paired with front and back hydraulic twin tube shocks, AMS provides excellent bump absorption. Plus, the lightweight, forged-aluminum spindles sit at a 27 degree spindle caster angle, providing optimal ski camber for off-trail cornering and more predictable counter-steering when side-hilling. They’re built to reduce drag, while the durable dual-phase alloy-steel A-arms are tailor-made to maneuver in deep snow. |
